Vermicomposting is gaining in popularity across Oʻahu as concerned citizens of all ages discover the fascination of cultivating a colony of composting worms. Worms turn garbage into gold by eating household food waste and producing vermicast, a superior soil amendment ideal for all kinds of gardens, potted plants, landscaping and lawn.

Our Jan. 22nd Harvest Party was fun, festive, and informative.
The beautiful Enchanted Lake Worm Hale provided a perfect venue.
Worm Ohana staff provided full support, set-up and clean-up!
It was great to meet up in person again and share in the harvesting experience.
A team of eager volunteers sped up the slow process of separating worms from vermicast.
All worries vanished as robust photophobic worms balled up to get ready for their weigh-in.
New wormers worked wonders, producing over 23 pounds of worms and mountains of rich vermicast!
