Call for WORM PHOTOS!

We now have two beautiful physical headquarters for worm learning and community – Magoon Wormery in Manoa and the UGC Wormery at the Urban Garden Center in Pearl City.  Regularly-scheduled Worm Workshops, Harvest Parties, school visits, research and educational tours are up and running at both sites, drawing folks from all over Oahu.

What’s missing is YOU!  We plan to install a PHOTO GALLERY at both sites to share your favorite worm photos.  You know, like the shots featuring you or your kids with the Big Ball O’ Worms. Those expressions of surprise, relief, and downright JOY make everyone smile.

For inspiration, please visit our original Zero Waste Worm Ohana website with a photo collage. You can also learn how the vermicomposting movement in Oahu got started.

We’d also love to see pics of your vermicast-inspired gorgeous gardens and potted plants, your cool DIY bins, and whatever else has made vermicomposting an important and treasured part of your life – lovin’ the worms and the work they do.  Let’s get those images up on a wall!

Please send digital versions to mindy@wormohana.org.
