Vermicast Sale at Kokua Market, 8/13

Sustainability Saturday at Kokua Market
Saturday, August 13th, 9am-1pm
2643 S. King Street, just kokohead of University Ave, Honolulu. Free parking behind the store off Kahuna Lane.

We had so much fun at Kokua Market’s 50th Anniversary celebration last year – we met and introduced many new people to our Zero Waste School and Worm Ohana programs and products…

This Sustainability Saturday, the Windward Zero Waste School Hui is back at Kokua Market with the Magic of Vermicast.

Give your garden, potted plants, landscaping and lawn a restorative late summer nutrient boost with fresh, microbially-active, locally produced worm castings. Participating schools daily turn garbage to gold with vermicomposting, and all proceeds from vermicast sales support school gardens and ag education.

Vermicast products on hand:

  • The ever-popular 5-pound container of freshly harvested worm castings for $20
  • New! A Special Blend Compost Tea Kit with everything you need to brew up several batches of fresh compost tea. Treat your plants with tea at your convenience. Regular price $20. Special Introductory Price available exclusively at the August 13th Kokua Market event – Only $10!

Pick up some vermicast and enjoy these other vendors as well:
